The
competition is on. Who will give in first and wash the dishes that are piling
up in the sink. As Anna says, Warren and Milly have 'a lower mess threshold'
than the others. The last demand for the electricty bill has arrived. Anna
and Egg are broke.

Egg
has decided to write a novel. He borrows Anna's laptop and gets cracking.
Milly begins to bring her personal problems to work. O'Donnell sees and
opening and begins to drop subtle hints.

|
Miles'
father Montgomery drops in at the house. Anna sets him straight about his
son and the Sheringham case. Montgomery decides to act as a witness, just
when Miles had started to put in big hours on the case. Miles is angry with
his dad, why didn't he consult him. Miles is now off the case, but Hooperman
is pleased with the end result.

Jo
and Anna go out for a drink. Anna confesses that she was a knotch on Miles
bedpost, much to Jo's surprise. They both get drunk and end up back at chambers
for a quickie on Miles' desk. Jo likes Anna and hopes to repeat the performance.
Anna was only interested in a one night stand. Jo is upset with Anna. This
is not a good move for Anna's career, especially since Jo hands out the
work and Anna is broke.

Warren
does his best to avoid his brother Dale. Eventually they go for a drink.
Warren doesn't reveal that he is gay. Eventually Warren gives in and does
the dishes.

The
trip to Mexico is off. Milly can't afford it. She's tired of supporting
Egg financially.
