|
Egg
takes a job in telesales selling Kitchens. He is fired after four hours
because he didn't stick to the 'script'. No pay because it was a comission
job only.
| |
| |
|
|
O'Donnell
makes his move and asks Milly to assist him on a high profile case - The
Pemberton V Locke case. Milly gladly accepts as it will involve lots of
long hours, a chance to escape from Egg. She finds herself being charmed
by O'Donnell. She works late and then accepts his invitation for a late
supper.

|
|
Egg
seeks counsel from Miles. Miles as usual has a 'helpful' theory - 'it's
probably glandular'. Thanks again Miles.

|
Jo
is still angry with Anna and does his best to assign her all the worst jobs.
Anna has an appointment with her bank manager. Her overdraft is out of control.
It is Hooperman's birthday party. Anna declines because she has something
else on. Not a good move.

| |
|
|
Anna
is almost late delivering papers to court. This is the final straw for Jo.
Miles does a good job of covering for her, no thankyous are forthcoming
from Anna. Anna decides to attend the party after all. She will take Miles
advice on how to get on after all.

|
Egg's
father Jerry has arrived at 13 Benjamin Street. Egg is pleased as he wants
to discuss his problems with his dad. Anna prepares for the party, lots
of alcohol and a mini-dress of course!
| |
| |
|
|
Anna's
behaviour at the party is outrageous, even for her. She embarrases Hooperman
by making him dance with her. Jo and Miles are furious. Jo confronts Anna.
He is furious because he believes that Anna is trying to screw the boss.
She has dumped him and is now aiming her sights higher. Anna manages to
convince Jo that this is not the case. They makeup and agree to be friends.

|
Milly
arrives back at the house after her dinner with O'Donnell. Egg hardly has
time to protest before Jerry drops his bombshell. Egg's mum has been having
an affair.
